Falcon and the Winter soldier an Aries/Pisces Friendship
Libra, Anthony Mackie and Leo Sebastian Stan are quiet a pair as they play Aries Sam Wilson and Pisces James ‘Bucky’ Barnes the Winter Solider.
Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the real reason I wanted Disney + because there’s no better team up of a Libra and a Leo, except for me and my son 😉
Watching random YouTube videos yesterday, I stumbled upon some of the press Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan were doing for their new show Falcon and the Winter Solider. This particular video caught my eye because Sebastian had a birthday party for his character, the 106 year old Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier who was born March 10, 1917–a Pisces! Anthony—slightly sad, that he wasn’t invited to Bucky’s birthday (right on cue with his sun in Libra😅 same bruh), says he’s going to throw one for his character Sam Wilson. Then Sebastian gets his phone out to look up Sam’s birthday and says, “because I want to know what sign he is,” (😍 is Seb into astrology?) and discovers that it’s April 14th, which makes Sam Wilson an Aries. 🔥
I love how fitting the signs are with these characters. First as an Aries, Mackie’s Falcon thrives in high energy and dangerous situations. Most people would probably be sick with all the high flying stunts Falcon performs on the regular, and the opening sequence of the first episode of the show illustrates this well. Falcon’s suit is also adorned with the Aries colors of red, black and silver and calls his drone Redwing. Most notably however is that Falcon was the first black superhero to appear in mainstream comics, first appearing in Captain America #117 in 1969. Aries are cardinal signs and the first sign of the zodiac. They use that Mars drive to get going and usually can be found using that energy to lead the way!
Looking at the Winter Soldier as a Pisces makes sense as he has been given powers of super strength to become a brainwashed assassin. Pisces rules the 12th house and things like secret institutions (he was created by HYDRA a secret organization), the subconscious (he’s mind controlled), injuries (he lost his arm!) and secret weaknesses and strengths. Bucky must overcome the injuries done to him to use his abilities to help others, thus healing himself. What a great Piscean journey! 🔮🦾
This Aries/Pisces friendship between Sam and Bucky has been built on trust and loss through losing their best friend, Captain America. Usually, with these two signs they may have similar interest but while Aries wants to lead but Pisces’ mutable energy may or may not follow, but to keep the arguing to a minimum they might just sulk instead. It reminds me of the scene in Captain America : Civil War, where Sam and Bucky are in the tiny Volkswagen. Bucky sits in the back, while Sam sits up front.
Bucky - “Can you move your seat up?”
Sam - “No.”
Bucky scoots over, looking sullen.
What keeps the chemistry between these two characters are definitely the actual men who play them. Anthony Mackie’s airy and caring Libra charm, is too infectious for Sebastian Stan’s Leo energy to ignore. Anthony playing a character opposite his sun sign, is probably very balancing for his Libraness. He gets to headline a show and shine, but also having a partner by his side is comforting. Sebastian’s Leo is comfortable with Pisces allowing the Leo playfulness to dive deeply into the creative world of Pisces. It also looks like they both have Gemini moons, which makes their friendship on and off screen with Gemini, Chris Evans aka Captain America easy and believable. They probably always have something to chat about! We can also see that Sebastian’s MC or Midheaven is in Libra, Mackie’s sun sign. This can show your achievements and since it’s in Libra, good partnerships will help make those aspirations come true. I think Sebastian has found a good partnership in Anthony Mackie, and I can’t wait to see these two continue on this Marvel-ous journey together.
It’s also pretty awesome that the show was dropped Friday, March 20th which happened to be the day we transitioned from Pisces season and into Aries. Does Disney or Marvel work with an astrologer 🤔 probably!
