Mars in Gemini— Fast, but Let’s not get furious!

Maybe one day I’ll actually watch those movies ;)

Maybe one day I’ll actually watch those movies ;)

As Mars transitions out of Taurus and into Gemini, we’re moving away from Taurus’ grounded, stubborn energy and into a more mutable and possibly less focused time. This is where my natal Mars sits, and why I have about five different things going on at once and incepted into those five, are five more things that are part of it. And that’s how you could feel as Mars gets whisked through airy Gemini. You may be compelled to start a new project or two, or seven, especially with all the planets direct now. Heck, it is a good time to start something new, but speaking from personal experience, make sure you have time for it. It’s always exciting in the beginning but Mars’ drive will get you off to an energetic start but Gemini has the tendency to... “SQUIRREL!”...What? Hmmm...I think I saw something over there that I need to chase. I think it was sparkly and new, too! 🤩 🚀

Oh, hello. I forgot you were there. I was saying something about focus, right? Where was I...?😅

It’s just that the fiery drive of Mars is getting so much air from those tricky Mercurial twins, that if I hurt your feelings too bad because I just want to get this long run-on sentence done so I can complete the 20 other things I have to do today, and it’s frustrating that your brain isn’t keeping up but honestly who’s brain can with all this air in here?! Oh darn, did I just burn dinner? 😬 Who wants pizza?

Anyway, back to the serious business of Mars in Gemini. 🧐 We have fast hands—Gemini rules those and a quick wit (that’s Mercury ruler of Gemini) that can often has a bite to it (Mars), and I wouldn’t be surprised if we invented sarcasm. You could argue that’s Mars in Sagittarius’ domain, but those guys will come at you with tactless truth bombs. Mars in Gemini are just going to give you those little quips and a 😉 and you might not notice those barbs are directed at you until it’s too late.

My go to example of this energy is Val Kilmer’s portrayal of real dentist turned gambler/gunslinger, Doc Holliday in Tombstone (1993). And according to some astrologers, Doc and his pal Wyatt Earp, had the Mars in Gemini placement. Both known to be quick on the draw, but it’s Doc’s historically accurate line, “You’re a daisy if you do,” (IMDb) in response to a cowboy aimed to kill him, that shares that sarcastic wit in the face of a battle—and that’s basically Gemini in Mars. If only Doc hadn’t caught Tuberculosis (lung and fever disease? Gemini also rules lungs and Mars will bring the heat) he’d probably be known as a great dentist, instead of a dangerous killer.

Okay, so those are examples of what not to do. Keep calm and don’t become a gunslinger. Sage advice for everyone at all times. Someone always ends up crying (not this airhead 😜) and feelings get hurt. Thank goodness for my libra-ness or I’d probably have no friends. Which reminds me of my favorite line in Tombstone when Doc is playing cards with his “friend” Ed.  “You know, Ed, if I thought you weren’t my friend, I just don’t think I could bear it.” Such sass! And watch out for those fast hands, Ed! Doh! Too late. 💀

Here are some healthy tips to keep you happy and outta jail😉—->

Write it by hand, before you write it in that email. Or better yet, just write! This is a great time to put your many many thoughts down on paper. Who knows with all this driving energy, it might just end up becoming a book!

Take a walk. A quick jaunt through nature, and perhaps you’ll meet an elf and that elf will take you on an adventure to meet the Green Man, and he’ll share some earthy knowledge with you and then write it down!

Chat with your friend about your amazing adventure! They will dig it and then ask them what they are working on and be supportive. Of course if you are getting cranky vibes move to step 4...

Step 4 :Keep calm and meditate on. That does not mean your brain has to stop its thoughts. Just acknowledge them and then move onto the next. If you need some helpful tips or if you want to meditate with me, DM or go on the website. I’ve been meditating for 11 years and it’s the only way I can manage my own Gemini in Mars mind, which you all can tell by my post is a little off. 😂
